​"PHI" is probably the first jazz record based entirely on the golden ratio. This ratio has already fascinated artists such as Leonardo Da Vinci, Johann Sebastian Bach and Béla Bartók.
Far from being conceptual music, Olivier Collette's compositions are melodious, harmonious and dynamic.

Influences include Pat Metheny and Keith Jarrett. Two prestigious guests on this album: guitarist Peter Hertmans and trumpeter Bert Joris.
