After many musical and human experiences in Europe and the United States with numerous musicians, saxophonist Vincent Thekal decided to form his new trio with bassist Alex Gilson and drummer Franck Agulhon, two long-standing friends and sidemen much in demand on the international scene, in order to offer this new music. "Origami" is the fruit of these experiences and influences, as well as a new page in the leader's musical and personal life.
With four new compositions written especially for this group and four arranged pieces from the repertoire, "Origami" offers something different and new in the jazz world nowadays. A new sound to discover!
